Interactive student ezine is out now

Author: Emily at the Pod

What's inside the first issue?

Due to popular demand from teachers we have created a brand new interactive environmental magazine for students.

The magazine has lots of facts, tips and tricks for learning about the environment as well as competitions and activities for your students.  It's not only a good way of rewarding your eco-club but covers many areas of the national curriculum and something that should keep your students engaged and enthusiastic about a range of environmental topics.

The Great outdoors

Find out what other Pod schools are doing to make the planet a greener place and learn more about saving water. There are some great activities too that will make the long summer holidays a lot less boring!

Quick Activities

Be a Sun Power Ranger and find out how solar thermal energy works in our new experiment, have fun drawing bugs or play the Pod version of the classic dice game, Beetle!.

Meet Busta

In this first edition we also introduce younger students to our latest friend of the Pod - Captain Busta! from Wastebuster; children can watch his video, sing his song and be in with a chance of winning Top Trump cards in our competition

Teachers Resources

Get ahead with your planning - our teachers section has dates of key environmental events for the autumn term.  You will find lots of tips and advice on running activities and resources that you can access via the Pod.
