The Pod and London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games

EDF Energy is proud to be supporting London 2012 to be the greenest Games ever. The Pod and Get Set, the official London 2012 education programme, are working together to use the excitement of the Games to inspire young people across the UK to live more sustainably in school, at home and in their communities.

Get Set is a UK-wide programme which offers 3-19 year olds lots of opportunities to play their part in London 2012. Through the interactive website, children, young people and their teachers can access a whole host of free resources, including activities, interactive games and films which support learning about the Games and the Olympic and Paralympic Values of friendship, excellence, respect, inspiration, courage, determination and equality.

To explore our free resources, visit the Discover section of Get Set.

You can get involved!

Schools who are already active on the Pod should register with Get Set to access even more opportunities for reward and recognition for the great work they're doing. Once you're registered, you can use your school blog to tell us about how your school is playing a part in London 2012 by becoming more sustainable. And don't worry, there's no need to duplicate blogs on the Pod - you can post a link to it on Get Set so we can follow what you're doing!
