At Carterknwole all our children have taken part in Waste Week by making posters, designing a waste super hero and talking about reducing, recycling and reusing in class. Everyone has been brilliant getting involved and really enjoyed it!

We have done our introductory assembly and are starting our waste week today, A week late but better than not at all! We are going to encourage all the children to reduce and recycle more of their food related waste at lunchtimes.

Shirley Manor Primary started recycling waste paper last year and children and staff were shocked to find out how much paper was being thrown away in the bins. Now our eco-monitors are eager to get people reusing and reducing as well as recycling

Eversley Primary School really care about the environment and want to show this throughout waste week. We will be running our waste week one week late because we have visitors from 7 different European countries who want to learn to be more eco.

We've had a wonderful Waste Week here at Earl Soham Primary. Last week the Eco-team prepared the school for Waste Week by holding an assembly using the slide show from the pod.
So when Waste Week arrived we were ready!

Our eco-team collect recyclable waste from classrooms and offices every day. During Waste Week, we have created 'Little Wasters' cards, which will be left with teachers whose classes need to improve their recycling habits!
