We are having a whole school competition and asking children to bring in a waste free packed lunch. On Wednesday 11th of march all children are going to eat in classrooms and waste will be weighed to see how much we have reduced waste on that day.
We're looking forward to getting started with Waste Week. We're planning organising a whole school event where all classes mix up and each group takes part in an activity to re-use and re-cycle different materials, therefore reducing waste.
Great ideas from the Pod; we intend to carry out a textile collection to make new and useful products and posibly exchange for charitable donations, reduce the amount of food waste in school and hold book swaps throughout the year.
eco club are now holding a bring and buy sale to recycle unwanted gifts,clothes,household and toys on friday 15th march 2013.you must bring items in separate bags! the sale will be held on friday 15th march 2013 it starts at 3:30-4:30pm.
Eco Club are holding a Bring And Buy sale for waste week. We are going to sell clothes, toys and household items. Anything that we don't sell, will be exchanged for science equipment.
