We only have one planet and all need to do our bit. Saving energy and money is a great thing to do for school, community and our planet. Teaching children the importance of saving energy through simple but effective ways can be shared with others

It’s the future! The only time we should not save it is in the pursuit of future proof sources.

fossil fuels are being used up and they're non-renewable so they've become more expensive. Britain is trying to provide more of it's energy from renewable sources, such as wind turbines; so we need to reduce our energy use to make this work.

Some power stations pollute our atmosphere the harder they work to give use electricty for all our gadgets. As a school we can save money on our bills & help the environment. We took part last year and want to help our community switch off.

we can plough the money saved back into resources for the school! For instance, we think that we've saved at least 20-30% off our gas bill for January and Decemeber through increased levels of insulation in difficult to reach roof spaces. Wow!
