How to win a medal
To win a medal for this activity, you need to:
- research and debate the factors that affect the UK's energy
mix
- produce publicity materials and run a campaign to tell the
whole school what you think the energy mix should be and why,
either now or in the future
- present an assembly on your energy mix ideas
- maintain a record of your work on the activity blog on the
Pod
We will judge how well run and successful your project was by
looking at the quality and quantity of your blog entries. You can
win a bronze, silver or gold medal for this activity.
To win a medal, your blog will need to be regularly updated with
lots of posts and comments. It would have at least 3 posts for a
bronze medal, 7 posts for a silver medal or 10 posts for a gold
medal. At least half of your posts will need to containing video,
audio or image files and you should include at least one Lessons
Learned report. Only the very best blogs will win a medal.
