Degrees of Change is designed to give students a greater understanding of weather and climate. It teaches students how to interpret historical climate data and understand why climate scientists look at what's happened in the past.

This activity should be run with a class of students and can be completed over one or two lessons in the classroom depending on how you want to run the activity.

Get Started

  1. Prepare by reading the activity pack (and using the other resources).
  2. Run your 'start audit'. Test your students' understanding using the questions in the audit.
  3. Run the activity - remember to update your blog with information and pictures
  4. Run your 'end audit'. Re-visit the questions with your students to see how much they've learned.
  5. Submit your blog for a medal.
  6. If you win a medal, download a certificate for your class!
